This feature uses an audible alarm to deter unauthorized use of the doorway.
Warning text is printed on the push bar to notify anyone attempting to open the secured door:

EMERGENCY EXIT ONLY
PUSH TO OPEN — ALARM WILL SOUND

The alarm module is powered by a 9VDC battery.
It monitors the push bar, latch bolt and end cap. The alarm will sound if the push bar is depressed, the latch bolt is retracted by the outside trim, or the end cap is tampered with.

Alarmed exit devices are designed for locations needing a standalone alarm on outward‑swinging doors. An integrated alarm housed in the push rail discourages unauthorized use of emergency exit doors; the alarm sounds right away when the exit is operated. This unit is ideal for rear exterior doors, doors leading to rooftops, and any area with security requirements.

The Alarm Exit Device provides an effective audible deterrent against unauthorized door usage. When the push bar is pressed, the built-in horn instantly emits a loud warning signal, alerting staff and discouraging further tampering.

Usage Scenario:	High-security areas requiring monitoring of personnel entry and exit.
Usage Method:	After the function is enabled, if a person presses the push bar, the bar will emit a buzzer alarm and the indicator light will flash red rapidly.
Indicator Light:	The green light blinks intermittently, allowing security personnel to easily confirm the status.
Multiple Alarm Modes Choose from:	Red light flashing only Red light flashing + 30-second alarm Red light flashing + continuous alarm
Reset:	After an alarm is triggered, security personnel must use a key to reset and restart the system.
