Alarm kit

The Alarm kit is a simple yet effective way to deter unauthorized use of an opening. While the exit device is still a means of egress, the ALK kit contains an internal horn. When the touch bar is depressed, the horn sounds to provide an audible means of signaling that the opening has been violated. The alarm kit can be armed or disarmed by Cylinder key. The horn is rated at 90 decibel.

The key switch uses a standard 1 1⁄4" (32mm) mortise cylinder . The unit can be powered by one standard 9 volt alkaline battery or be hardwired.

✔ 1. Usage Scenario:

High-security areas requiring monitoring of personnel entry and exit.

✔ 2. Usage Method:

After the function is enabled, if a person presses the push bar, the bar will emit a buzzer alarm and the indicator light will flash red rapidly.

✔ 3. Indicator Light:

The green light blinks intermittently, allowing security personnel to easily confirm the status.

✔ 4. Multiple Alarm Modes: Choose from:

① Red light flashing only,
② Red light flashing + 30-second alarm,
③ Red light flashing + continuous alarm.
✔ 5. Reset:

After an alarm is triggered, security personnel must use a key to reset and restart the system.

✔ 6. Includes decal for application on door : “EMERGENCY EXIT ONLY. PUSH TO OPEN ALARM WILL SOUND.”
